Annual host to the PGA Tour's AT&T National Pro-Am, Pebble Beach Golf Links is the best-known golf course in the U.S. and without question in the west.  A GOLF MAGAZINE "Gold Medal Resort," it boasts narrow fairways and small greens bordered by deep rough.  Many of the holes have spectacular views of the ocean, including #18, a 548-yard, par 5, which curves the rocky shoreline. The wind is commonly a major factor, and proper club selection is a must if you hope to score well.

Hole #5, a 166-yard par 3, was redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 1996 along the cliffs, with the tee placed behind the green on hole #4. Holes #8, 9, and 10 are considered the most difficult holes, and #18 is one of the most famous finishing holes in golf.

GOLF MAGAZINE ranked this course #1 among the Top100 Courses in the U.S. for 2002. Pebble Beach has also hosted the the 1972, 1982, 1992, and 2000 U.S. Opens.

Guests of the Pebble Beach Resort can book a tee-time in advance; non-guests will have to take their chances the day before. The club strictly enforces a 4/5 hour round on the Golf Links Course.

The Pebble Beach Golf Links includes the Peter Hay Par Three Golf Course. This par 3 course is easy to play and great for beginners, with no water hazards and wide-open fairways.
